There is silence and darkness. John has no idea
where he is and he’s alone. The last thing he remembers is being in his house
watching television. John was born in Nevada and for a while now he has been
looking for some sort of meaning of his life. He wanted to know why he was put
onto this Earth. One day, John had a dream and a mysterious white figure told
him to go far away and find his meaning in life. This was John’s journey.
Along the way John had met a friend named
Steven. “I had the same exact dream that you had John. I want to know why I was
put onto this Earth,” Steven said. So both of them went on their journey
together. Along the way, they faced many obstacles and had to solve puzzles.
Months into their journey they finally ventured underground and this would be
their toughest challenge yet.
When John and Steven got underground they saw a
mysterious rock and they went towards it. The rock all of a sudden lit up and
they got worried. A bright light came out of the rock and before they could say
anything, they were staring at a mysterious white figure. The same person who
was in both of their dreams. “Welcome to your journey John and Steven. You have
come a long way. For months you have questioned what is your meaning and why
you’re here. At the top of the mountain, you will find what you are seeking.
But be careful, there will be challenges along the way.” The mysterious white
figure disappeared and they started to hear noise in the distant. “I don’t
think it’s a good idea to go near that noise,” Steven said. “I want to finish
my journey and I’m ready for anything,” John said. They both walked to the
noise but it stopped. They looked around and there were statues of demons
everywhere. Both men started to worry. The creature was near.
John and Steven continued to walk with caution.
Both were unaware of what was to come next. Suddenly, everything started to
shake and both of them began to ran. They stopped running when the ground
started to cave in and out rose this giant creature and he roared. John and
Steven ran to safety and the creature began to hunt for them. The creature
started to sniff and both men did not move a muscle. “I’m going to make a run
for it,” Steven said. “No, don’t do that. If that creature sees you, he could
kill you,” John said but Steven would not budge. Steven looked around and
realized the creature was gone. He starts to move slowly and John starts to
feel another rumble between his feet. John sees movement in the ground and he
tries to warn Steven but he can’t hear. The creature comes out from the sand
and attacks Steven.
Steven screams in pain but John can’t do
anything for him. The creature continues to attack him and finally leaves. He
then runs over to Steven to try and help him. John is hurt but he is able to go
keep going. Once they finally get out of the cave, Steven becomes frustrated.
“Why did I come out here? I don’t want to die. Is this really worth it?” Steven
asked. “I think it is, for my whole life I have been wondering why I was put
onto this Earth. But I will try and help you as much as you can. We will both
complete our journey,” John said. John reached out his hand and Steven accepted
it and continued their journey.
For days they walked. They both wondered if
this mysterious being would ever show up again and help them out. Eventually,
it got colder again and they struggled to keep going. Before they knew it, the
ground started to shake again. Up ahead they heart someone else. He was yelling
for help but both of them were too afraid. “We need to help him! That creature
could get him,” John said. But Steven would not budge. He wanted to play it
safe. And before they both could do anything they heard the creature and a
scream. They looked up and the person was gone. They started to walk and the
snow started to come down harder. They became so cold. Steven fell down a
couple times and John would help him up. The wind picked up and they would be
blown back constantly. Suddenly, the creature appeared and they ran for
shelter. John looked behind him and Steven fell to his feet. He was coughing
and in pain. “John… just go on… without me. Finish… your journey.” John didn’t
know what to do. All he did was stare at Steven.
“I’ll be fine. I’m not… as strong as you,”
Steven said. John couldn’t decide what to do. He felt this connection with this
person that he never met in his life. He wanted to help him so bad. John turned
around and all of a sudden a blue light appeared. Suddenly, the creature came
out from under the snow and attacked Steven. The blue light came on John and he
began to run. It got closer and closer and then silence. John looked around and
thought he was dead. But the creature was gone. He looked up and saw the
mountain. He knew what he had to do.
John started to walk in the freezing cold but
all he could think about was Steven. He wanted to make sure he was alright but
he wanted to keep going. Every step he took got harder and harder. He could
feel his heartbeat slowing down and his vision was getting blurry. He walked
slower and slower until he fell down. He slowly lifted his head and saw the
mountain. He was so close. He wanted to yell out but he had no air. John
thought his journey was coming to an end.
John wasn’t dead yet, but it was close.
Suddenly, he saw a figure in the distance. Was it Steven? How is he alive? When
the person got closer it happened to be the mysterious white figure. He touched
John and he could feel the light coming back into him. “I have been watching
you for all this time. I hope you didn’t think I didn’t care about you John.
Now, finish your journey,” the figure said and he disappeared. John stood up
and started to walk again. He finally got to the top of the mountain and he
couldn’t believe what he saw. “I’m so happy you made it,” Steven said. John
realized that this figure was looking over both of them. They both reached the
mountain and what they saw, was amazing.
